HELP!!!

I am so stressed out! And if anyone knows me you would know that really is nothing new. However, this time I have a good excuse. At least in my book it is a good excuse. I am suppose to do Sharing Time in primary on sunday. THIS sunday! And I havn't a clue of what to do. You would think that I wouldn't be so nervous with little kids, but I am. I am not good at being the center of attention. I am more of a "quitly listen to every one ealse on the sidelines" kind of a person. I never understood what was so bad about being a wallflower. I don't mind being a little Dasiy, let someone ealse be the rose. I am fine with it. But now, I am being forced to be in the center of attention. I don't even know what to do for Sharing Time!! The thought of having everyone in the room look at me is almost debilating! But anyway, my plea is for anyone out there who is creative-help me come up with an idea please! Anything to do with Christmas. Help me please. (Do I sound desperate or what!?!)

My favorite site is sugardoodle.net
they have ideas for everything. I use it all the time for my YW lessons. Just click on "Primary" and then click on "sharing time ideas" then click on "december" I am sure you will find something...good luck!

Ugh...you poor thing. I hate getting up in front of large groups. And I am dreading ever getting a calling in the primary. Just remember to breath...

I'm with you on being nervous around kids. If adults think you're boring, they can still hide it, but kids make faces at you or start talking to friends. We just got called to be primary teachers too....my fav. site in the world is www.sugardoodle.net. You're guaranteed to find help on there. p.s. I'm bringing the recipe book and those clothes over tomorrow

I'm also a sugardoodle.net girl.I steal TONS of ideas from that site. But the best sharing time I ever did was similiar to the $10,000 dollar pyramid game. Print out names and pictures of different people/places/events from the scriptures. A child then chooses a paper, and has to give clues to the rest of the class so they'll guess what that child has. Make sense? So if the child chooses say Mary, they would say, "The mother of Jesus." Then all the kids would guess that it was Mary.

Oh, I'm sad that we're going to miss your Sharing Time! We are out of town, but I wish we could be there! One of my favorite Christmas sharing times was reading the beautiful story of "The Tale of Three Trees" and talking about what Christmas means to us- like the tree, the wreath, etc. It's a perfect story. Good luck! tell me how it goes.

One thing we did in sharing time was play a little bowling game put the question on the bottome of the bowling pins and have the kids bowl for the question ask the question and the child that gets it right gets to bowl.
I feel for you though I hated doing sharing time when we were in primery. I hope you can think of something to do and good luck with it.
